What: Williston Green Fair

When: 9am-noon on Saturday, May 2, 2026

Where: Village Green, 40 Central School Drive

Williston Green Fair combines the 5th Annual Town Fair on Green Up Day with the Williston Energy Fair. The format will be similar to past Town Fairs, but with even more vendor partners and interactive activities. (Please note there will not be a stand-alone Energy Fair in September.) Community members are invited to stop by before or after greening up Williston’s roadsides. Strong attendance depends on engaged partner organizations offering great activities and helping promote the event.

How 'Green Up Day' Works
Free bags are provided by Green Up Vermont, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Groups & individuals claim a road segment or park by signup up on Williston's in-person or online map. Town Planning & Zoning staff can assist with choosing a road segment that is suitable for your group's ability level. A daily allotment of bags will be available at the Williston Planning & Zoning Office from April 22-May 1, with the bulk of bags distributed on May 2. Many groups & individuals complete their route in the days leading up to Green Up Day. More details for Green Up Day bags and routes will be posted in April - stay tuned!
