Meeting Minutes - September 8, 2021
Sept. 8, 2021 Cemetery Meeting Members present: Jack Price Meeting called to order 3 PM New Business: Drew and Jack will meet with Shirley and try to understand our budget. Drew and Jack will do some minor repairs to raise ground markers to ground level. At this point, they're getting covered with dirt. Gordon got his 4 sets of cornerstones in, and Bob will get his 3 sets in this week or next. Damage done by the mowers, we feel should be paid for by their insurance. We have paid for many as of this date, and have a total of 10 to go. So we have paid $900 for damaged stones. Jack painted in the numbers on the row posts at Deer View. There is one cornerstone in Deer View, Row F, in need of construction. Amendments to Rules and Regulations have been put off until the winter. Flag Replacements, Cameron has an order for four boxes placed for the next time Montpelier Flag and Works does a bulk order. That will set us up well for next year. The family of Sarah Griswold has told us their intention of cleaning her stone in East Cemetery. Jack will let them know what to use. No upcoming burials scheduled as of Sept. 8, 2021. We need a directory for Deer View. Will discuss it further. Next meeting will be Oct. 6 at 3 PM, place to be announced. Meeting adjourned 4 PM
