Meeting Minutes - November 10, 2021

November 10, 2021 Cemetery Meeting

Meeting called to order 3.30

Members present:
   Jack Price
   Bea Harvey
   Drew Nelson
   Cameron Clark
   Hazel Winter

Old Business:

Still working on budget details, no financial report.  Our budget will have to be ready in the next couple of months

Next spring, the gates to the cemeteries will be opened for Mother's Day and closed the day after until our normal opening date.

Hazel will check with Woody to determine if he will be able to finish the repairs this fall, or is it too cold now.  Also, can the stones stay on the ground through the winter?

Jack and Drew spread the lime heavily to see if that works any better.

Raymond Thompson's stone has been raised to ground level.

Flags will be removed after Veteran's Day.

Corner stone installation has been raised to $150 per set of 4 stones.

New Business:

Amendments to Rules and Regulations will be postponed to a future date, and that may be all we do.  If time permits, we will go over the financial report.  Probably a December meeting.

The plots the church bought will be set to normal measurements, giving them 16 lots total.

The budget remnants need to be used up to get the odds and ends off the financial report.

Closing date for the gates at the cemeteries is Monday, November 15, 2021

Drew will research the Pauper graves in Morse Cemetery.

In March or April we will update the Cemetery Maps.

Next meeting to be determined.

Meeting adjourned 4.45 PM

Respectfully submitted,

Hazel Winter, Sec.
