June 16, 2021 Cemetery Meeting

Old Business:

East Cemetery and Deerview Cemetery will be temporarily open to vehicular traffic on the weekend of Mother's Day for the honoring of relatives, The gates will then be closed until the designated opening date of May 15, for full traffic.

Two people will go to the town and have our financial paperwork explained.  All are still having a hard time figuring out what's what.

Spring cleanup is finally done, still need work, but we're on the right track.  We desperately need rain for East, as well as the others.  

Flags for the veterans have been put out, and more purchased.  They just don't last all that long.  The wind takes its toll, and the sticks are semi fragile and prone to bending.

The lime will be put down in the near future in East.  

New Business:

Lot sales, 1 lot in Deer View, total sold this year 19.

Discussion of cremation burials and cost of same

Discussion of repairs needed in East.  We have several broken stones, and one out of place.  Our repair person has been contacted and he will get at them as soon as possible. 

Next meeting is July 14, 2021 at the bandstand at 3 PM.
