Cemetery Meeting March 4, 2019

Misstated that there would be no March meeting.  Apologies.

Last meeting was at 11.30 AM in the Old Brick Church.  Possibly a change in meeting place and time.  Next meeting will be there as well.  Stay tuned.

Meeting called to order at 11.30

Members present:

Long and productive discussion of perpetual care in the cemeteries.

Our budget is in the Town Report and there is a line item for the new shed in East.

Discussed what we need to do this spring and summer:

    Eradicate seedum in East

    Remove brush in the corner of Morse and general clean up   

     Post markers with white sleeves and removal of stump in Chittenden

    Plan for expansion of Deer View in the future.  Hopefully at least a 10 year plan.

Bob Gokey will be invited to our next meeting.

Our next will move to daytime at 11.30 AM on Thursdays, probably in the the Old Brick

    Church.

Morse fencing is still on hold.

Need to take a flag count for all cemeteries.

Next meeting on March 11 an 11.30 AM in the Old Brick Church.
