Meeting Minutes - October 8, 2020

Minutes of the Cemetery Meeting October 8, 2020

 

Meeting called to order 3 PM.

 

Members present:

 

    Jack Price

    Cameron Clark

    Hazel Winter

 

Old Business:

 

Financial report that we don't really understand, and Jack will follow up with Mary Gratton.

 

2 spaces sold in the Memorial Garden  

 

Lime is spread in East Cemetery and Deer View Cemetery.  Thanks Jack and the two men from Public Works.

 

Floor of the gazebo has been stained as well as the benches.  We will do it again in the spring.   Thanks Jack.

 

Stone that was rotated out of place is back where it should be.

 

New Business:

 

In the coming budget we will only request the same as we did in this fiscal year.

 

No burials are scheduled for the rest of the season at this point.

 

We will close the cemeteries on November 16, 2020.  The pedestrian gate will remain open all year.

 

Hedge trimming in Deer View was done by Public Works.  Thanks so much

 

Jack will write up the report for the Annual Town Report.

 

Cameron will pick up the cemetery flags just before closing in November.

 

Our next meeting will be at Jack Price's at 3 PM on November 12.

 

Map up dating will be done at some point during the winter.

 

Jack will make up a sign pointing to the pedestrian gate.  It can be difficult to fine.  There will also be a sign on the gate itself.
