June 16, 2022 Cemetery Meeting Meeting called to order 3 PM Members present Old Business: In budget report, the line item for equipment repairs needs to be deleted as we don't use the mowers anymore Sale of tractor funds should come to the Cemetery Commission as we paid for them. Clean up after storm of May 25 is pretty much done, just waiting on Woody to get the time to fix up the stones. Hazel Will call him to check on his timing. Need to look into finding the original paperwork for the endowment. Bea was presented with a beautiful hanging pink plant from the staff on her retirement for her about 15 years of fantastic service. In Deer View and East Cemeteries, the needed flag holders have been installed. Grounds maintenance: Mulch needs to be delivered to Chittenden Cemetery to take care of the Memorial Garden. Shelves will be put in the little storage shed in East to keep some items off the floor and give us more floor space. It was a consensus that the new fencing in East is a great improvement. Job well done. New Business: Sales of lots has slowed way down, none to report. Burial schedule is one burial in East on the 18th of June, and one on the 25th in Deer View Boutin stone in Deer View is not secure. After reading the agreement, we find that the dealer guaranteed it of all defects etc. forever. Decided not to use any more lyme. Nobody has applied to fill Bea's position on the board. Hazel and Cameron will attend to burials while Jack and Drew are gone. Next meeting July 14, 2022 at 3 PM at the Williston Police Dept building in the village. Meeting Adjourned 4.45 PM
