4/14/22 Cemetery Meeting
Members present: Looked at budget report and decided to go to the town hall every few months to check on our budget as opposed to trying to figure out the actual report. Discussion of endowment fund, and how get more interest, find out where it is invested, and where can it be invested to make more interest? The new lot sales agreements are now available. The corner stone contract is set with Bianchi's, and 4 will now be $300, we have the installing done. Stromme will be the contractor for mowing etc in the cemeteries. Looking forward to working with him. We have 2 bids in for the fence repair at East, and waiting on one. Bruce will get the mulch for the Memorial Garden for us. The lime that has been put down in East Cemetery doesn't look like it's had much of an impact on the weed problem. Jack and Drew will check the cemetery and if it appears to have really done something, they will put down lime one more time. Simon Miles does mapping and enlargement at the Town Office. Are there pauper burials in Morse? We would like to find out, and if so, where? Two lots in Deer View have not been fully paid for as of yet. Burials are not allowed until such lots are paid in full.
