The Town of Williston has over 75 miles of roadway that is maintained by the Public Works Department. There are also 6.36 miles of Vermont State Highway, 5.897 miles United States Highway and 6.39 miles of Interstate located within the Town of Williston.

Each roadway throughout the Town has a Right of Way associated with it.  This Right of Way is additional property located on both sides of the traveled highway that is owned and operated by the Town.  The Right of Way width can differ from roadway to roadway.  It is prohibited within the Town of Williston to construct and or plant any structures or plantings within this Right of Way.  Any work to be performed within the Right of Way requires a permit from the Public Works Director.  Please complete the Right of Way Permit Application form.
