Zoning District Boundary Change - RZD & IZDW near North Brownell Road & Industrial Avenue


Overview 

The Williston Planning Commission is considering an amendment to the Williston Unified Development Bylaw (WDB), also known as the "zoning bylaw," to change the boundary between the Residential Zoning District (RZD) and the Industrial Zoning District West (IZDW) near the intersection of North Brownell Road and Industrial Avenue, close to Rossignol Park.

Site Visit and Community Meeting 

Tuesday, August 18, 2026

  • Site Visit: 6:00-6:30pm. Meet at Rossignol Park, 600 Industrial Ave. This site visit involves walking on sidewalks and crossing at designated crosswalks.
  • WDB July 21 2026 Chapter 37 Mixed Use Commercial Zoning District.docx The site visit is rain or shine, but will be cancelled in the event of severe weather (if cancelled, a notice will be published on the agenda page by 4:00pm
  • Note: The Planning Commission will not be taking public comment or questions at the site visit.
    • 6:00pm Meet at Rossignol Park parking lot 
    • 6:05pm Cross Industrial Ave and Avenue D. Walk NE along Industrial Ave towards Route 2A. Stop at Allen Brook Pedestrian Bridge. 0.2 miles 
    • 6:10pm Walk back to Rossignol Park parking lot. 0.2 miles. 
    • 6:15pm Walk through Rossignol Park on sidewalk towards N. Brownell Road. 0.1 miles.  
    • 6:20pm Walk south on N. Brownell Road and stop to the area across from 53, 59, 95 N. Brownell Road and 113-125 N. Brownell Road. 0.1 miles. 
    • 6:25pm Turn around and walk back to Rossignol Park parking lot. 0.1 miles. 
    • 6:30pm Site Visit concludes.
