Village to Taft Corners - Williston Road Multimodal Study
Williston has partnered with the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) and consultants from DuBois & King to evaluate the options for improved bike and pedestrian facilities along Williston Road from Taft Corners to the Village. A Local Concerns Meeting was held on December 3, 2024 to present the project, hear input and questions from the public and gather information about the needs of the community. View the presentation slides and meeting recording. A public survey was also available in November & December 2024.
Taking input from survey responses and the meeting, the project team has developed potential alternative options for a multi-use path. These alternatives were shared at a public meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, during which we received additional feedback from the public. View the presentation slides and meeting recording. Next steps are to refine the alternatives and create an alternatives matrix in order to better understand the costs and benefits of each alternative, then to share the alternatives matrix with the Selectboard at a public meeting, during which the Selectboard will discuss and potentially select a preferred alternative. Future meeting dates will be posted here. |
