Position Objectives

This seven-member committee is appointed by the Selectboard to staggered three-year terms.  The Committee serves an advisory function for the Recreation & Parks Department and was established to ensure high-quality Recreation in the Town of Williston. The Committee reviews policies and existing and new recreation facilities based on the needs and wants of the community.

There is one open position available, for a 3-year term beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Recreation & Parks Committee meets the second Thursday of each month, September-June, 7:00-8:00 a.m.

Williston Resident

Desirable Training and Experience
None Required
