Position Objectives There is one open position for an unexpired 3-year term through June 30, 2027. Meeting Information Meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
Duties and Responsibilities The Town Energy Committee was established by the Selectboard in October 2021. It is composed of seven members serving staggered three-year terms. The Committee advises the Planning Commission on energy policy related to land use and plays a leading role in engaging the community. Its work includes promoting energy efficiency and supporting efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions among residents and businesses. The Energy Committee has the duties and responsibilities as listed below. The Town Manager retains authority over administrative matters relating to the Town Energy Plan and any staff or consultants who assist in its implementation, and the Selectboard retains authority on policy issues.
