The Williston Selectboard is developing the fiscal year 2027 budget for consideration at Town Meeting in March. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 6th at 8:10 PM during the Selectboard meeting. The Town Manager's draft budget transmitted in December to begin the budget development process is linked on this page.

Williston Town Meeting will occur on Monday, March 2nd beginning at 7 PM in the Williston Central School Auditorium to conduct business from the floor, followed by a Public Information Hearing on the items for consideration by Australian Ballot (which includes the Town budget and Library/Town Green Bond). The Champlain Valley School District will also provide a presentation on its proposed budget after the conclusion of the hearing. Voting by Australian Ballot will take place on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Armory located 7846 Williston Road (next to the Town Offices) with polls open from 7 AM to 7 PM. 

Early and absentee voting is available as an alternative to voting in person. A ballot can be requested by calling the Clerk's Office at 802.878.5121, emailing Town Clerk Sarah Mason at smason@willistonvt.org or visiting the State Website mvp.vermont.gov. Ballots will be available in mid-February. You can pick up your own ballot at Town Hall. Ballots can be returned using the secure drive-up drop box located behind Town Hall, by postal mail or by dropping the ballot off at the Armory between 7 AM and 7 PM on March 3rd.
