The Listers are a three member, elected board charged with the responsibility of determining the value of real property. The property values serve as the base upon which the Selectboard sets property taxes.  Members are elected for staggered three-year terms.

The Listers and Assessor inspect new and changed property, compile and analyze sales data, provide the public with assessment information, supply the Department of Property Valuation and Review reports, and perform other miscellaneous duties. Mychaela Harton, Assistant Assessor, assists with these duties. The Town Assessor, Bill Hinman, provides professional assistance.
