It is the mission of the Williston Planning and Zoning department to help the town create and realize a vision for its future. We will provide decision-makers with timely, accurate information and staff support to help them develop and refine that vision. We will ensure that the town’s vision is stated clearly in its main guiding document, the Williston Comprehensive Plan. We will ensure that the goals, objectives and policies articulated by the town in that document are implemented through the efficient, accurate, and consistent administration of the Williston Unified Development Bylaw. We will also help the town fulfill its vision by providing technical support to other departments and community groups as we all work together to build, finance, protect, support, and create an equitable, sustainable, and healthy community for present and future generations.
